Immediately after, she started to work on her fourth studio album but in 2015 The Secret Daughter gave her the chance to unfold once again her acting talent and from that collaboration her first individual soundtrack album, The Secret Daughter: Songs from the Original TV Series, made big success. In 2017 her second individual soundtrack album, The Secret Daughter Season Two: Songs from the Original 7 Series, was released on October 6 and two months later SBS, the National Broadcaster of Australia, announced that Mauboy is the artist that will represent Australia at the 63rd edition of the Eurovision Song Contest in Lisbon, Portugal.
