Susanna Marie Cork is a British singer, songwriter and musician better known as SuRie. She born on February 1989 in Harlow, Essex and raised in Bishop's Stortford, Hertfordshire. SuRie graduated from Royal Academy of Music and she is classical trained as she can play the piano and oboe. She is also trained as a vocalist and has a talent in composing. Susanna is a teacher at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in London. She has attended in several British venues such as The Royal Albert Hall and St. Paul's Cathedral and at venues all around the world, including St. Mark's Basilica in Venice. Recently she has provided backing vocals for Chris Martin of Coldplay and Will Young. This year was one of the participations of Eurovision: You Decide, the National Selection of Britain for the Eurovision Song Contest. Her song “Storm” gained the impressions and SuRie will represent United Kingdom in the Grand Final at 12 May. |
