Christabelle was born in 1992, she is a professional singer and she made her first steps in music and performing from the age of three. As a teenager she hosted Teen Traffic and Teen Trouble (both nominated for a Malta Television Award). After that brief experience Christabelle decided to focus on her music career and participated in several song contests such as the Maltese selection for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest and F.I.D.O.F. in Louisiana, USA. Some of Christabelle’s top chart singles are I Wanna Know, Flame, Naturally, Every Time I Bleed, Everything About You, Say, and Fall for You. The singer has won eight Bay Music Awards, which are the highest accolade from the Maltese music industry. She tried to represent Malte at the Eurovision Song Contest in the past but she placed in the Top 10 of the Maltese selection for the Contest three times: eighth in 2014 with the song Lovetricity, second in 2015 with Rush, and fourth in 2016 with Kingdom. This year she returned to the Maltese National Final with the song “Taboo”, which is written by Johnny Sanchez, Muxu, Thomas G:Son (who won the Eurovision Song Contest in 2012 with “Euphoria”) and herself. |
