Nikita Vladimirovich Alekseev or simply Alekseev is a Ukrainian singer and songwriter. He was born in 1993 and raised in Kiev, Ukraine. He has a degree in Marketing, but his true passion is music. Alekseev grow up listening to Queen, Led Zeppelin, Michael Jackson, George Michael and Justin Timberlake. When he was only twelve years old he became very interested in music and he made his first steps beside Konstantin Pona. Years later he formed his own band called “Mova”. His first attempt to the music career was in 2014 when he decided to take part in the blind auditions of The Voice Ukraine. Ani Lorak was the coach that took him but unfortunately Alekseev didn’t go so far, but Lorak helped him to shoot his debut single “Everything is in time”. One year later Alekseev released the single Pyanoye solntse (Drunken Sun), with music by Rusland Quint and lyrics by Vitaly Kurovsky. In 2016 he manages to release three more singles "Dreams of Shards", "Oceans of Steel" and "Feeling Soul" and gain numerous awards including Breakthrough Artist of The Year at the Russian MUZ-TV Awards and Breakthrough Artist of The Year at the Ukrainian M1 Music Awards. In 2017 his career takes-off by winning several categories in ZD Awards and Top Hit Music Awards, including "Breakthrough Artist of The Year" and "Artist of The Year". The same year Alekseev made his first Ukrainian Tour which made huge success. Alekseev took part in the National Election of Belarus for the artist that will represent the country at the 63rd edition of the Eurovision Song Contest and won. The song that will perform on the stage of Eurovision in Lisbon called “Forever” and it is written by Kyrylo Pavlov and Evhen Matyushenko. Belarus will compete on the first half of the First Semi-Final. |
