Ieva is only 24 years old but she is already a professional singer. When she was six years old she started her musical studies in piano and pop music until she was fifteen. Ieva is already member of the Eurovision Family, she was participated in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest as a backing vocalist when she was fourteen years old. She was one of the finalists at The Voice of Lithuania in 2012, and a year later she participated in the National Final and reached the finals. This year she participated again with the song “When We’re Old”, a creation of Vytautas Bikus and won. The message of this song is that love can last forever, that it is the most powerful thing in this universe and that love can defeat all the fears that we may have. Vytautas Bikus is a Lithuanian composer, songwriter and music producer. He is not stranger to the contest, he participated again in 2015 with the song “This Time” performed by Vaidas Baumila and Monika Linkytė. He has worked with famous Lithuanian artists and has written, produced and co-produced many chart topping hits in his country. He also writes music for film and television and works as one of the music producers on The X Factor in Lithuania. |
