The EMA show for another year revealed the artist who will represent Slovenia in the Eurovision Song Contest, which this year will take place in Kiev, Ukraine. The big winner of the evening was Omar Naber who will compete in the second half of the first semi-final on May 9th.

The 8 finalists of EMA were:

• Sell ​​Out - Ni panike
• Nuška Drašček - Flower in the snow
• Tim Kores Kori - Open fire
• Nika Zorjan – Fse
• KiNG FOO - Wild ride
• Omar Naber - On my way
• BQL - Heart of gold
• Raiven – Zažarim

The vote of the public and the judges highlighted winner of EMA 2017 the artist Omar Naber with the song On my Way.
This is the second time that Omar Naber represent Slovenia in the Eurovision, as was involved again in the song contest in 2005, again in Kiev, he didn’t make it to the Grand Final then because the song Stop reached the 12th place in the semi-final.
