Finally the German Final 2018 was completed. The song that will represent Germany in the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 is You Let Me Walk Alone with Michael Schulte.
The winner of the national final was determined by a combination of televoting, a 100-member Eurofans committee and a 20-member international panel of experts.
More than 4000 songs took part in the Eurovision song selection process, the six most prevalent were:

The song, You Let Me Walk Alone, is written by Thomas Stengaard, Nisse Ingwersen, Nina Müller and Michael himself, in memory of his deceased father.
