Nicky Byrne is the representative of Ireland this year from the beautiful country of the seven Eurovision victories. Unfortunately, the last years Ireland had not the results that we expected, for that reason RTÉ decided to send in the competition one of the most well-known artists of the country, the singer – songwriter Nicky Byrn.
    Nicky is an Irish singer - songwriter, radio producer, television presenter, dancer and former semi-professional footballer, is best known as a member of boyband Westlife. He wrote many hits of Westlife and he has all the experience that this competition need.
    The title of the song is Sunlight and it is co-written with Wayne Hector, and as he said “Nicky is a real talent and after having shared so much success previously, I was looking forward to working together with him again and with my good friend and super producer/composer Ronan Hardiman. We've written a song that we all love and believe in, which is a great showcase for Nicky's voice, so I'm looking forward to the night".
