    Croatia’s Public Broadcaster HRT announced the 22nd representative of the country in the Eurovision Song Contest. Except 2014 and 2015, Croatia took part every year in the contest since 1993, the best place ever had was in 1993 with the song "Don't Ever Cry" from Put, they gained the 3rd place that year.
    For this year’s competition and for their 22nd entry, Croatia sends in the competition one of the most promising talents of the country, the young artist Nina Kraljić, she was the big winner of the Croatia version of the talent show The Voice Croatia.
    "From my participation I expect first of all a good performance, and I hope that the efforts will pay off. The most important part for me is to represent Croatia in the best light."
    "It's a big honour for me that after two years of absence from the Eurovision Song Contest, it is Nina Kraljić, last year's winner of The Voice, who will represent us", Croatian Head of Delegation Željko Mesar states. "She will compete in the First Semi-Final and we believe in her success and her trust that she can qualify for the Final on 14 May and sing in front of 200 million TV viewers. Her song will be very interesting, tailored to Nina's voice, and she will represent us in the best possible way, which only she can do."
    The song that Nina will perform in the stage of Eurovision in Stockholm, Sweden is not have been yet announced. Nina and Croatia will compete in the first half of the first semi-final at the 10th of May.
