Amir will be the representative of the 61^st Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm, Sweden with the song J’ai cherché (I was searching).
    "I am so proud and flattered to represent my country, France, at this epic song contest that celebrates all cultures of the large European family", Amir said. "I watch the Eurovision Song Contest every year. It was my childhood dream to participate in the show. Trust me, I will give more than I can to make everyone proud of our performance", he added.
    Except a professional singer, Amir studied dental surgeon, but his childhood dream was to be a singer and performer. He was participated in the talent show The voice in 2014, where he made it to the final. His next step was his participation in the second edition of Forever Gentlemen who reached the top, and he’s now working on his first album. The song J’ai cherché is also the first single of his debut album.
    Amir will compete in the Grand Final at the 14 th of May.
