    Guy Sebastian is the first participation of Australia in the Eurovision Song Contest. Guy was the winner of the Australian Idol in 2003, till now he has released 8 albums under the license of Sony Music Entertainment Australia, and he has made over 4.5 million sales. He became one of Australia’s biggest stars with 51 platinum and seven gold records.
    “We are very excited to have secured an opportunity for Australia to be represented at Eurovision. It has been a four year journey to achieve this ambition and I’m so proud that Guy Sebastian will be representing our country to Eurovision’s world audience” says SBS Managing Director Michael Ebeid.
Austria will compete straight to the final at the 23 rd of May.
