First Semi Final

    This year Armenia made the difference, the country has chosen 5 artist of the five continents (Africa, Europe, Australia, Asia, America) with Armenian origins along with one popular artist of Armenia to represent the country at the Eurovision Song Contest.
    The five artists are: Essaï Altounian, Tamar Kaprelian, Vahe Tilbian, Stephanie Topalian, Mary-Jean O’Doherty Vasmatzian, and Inga Arshakyan. The music of the song “Don’t Deny” belongs to Armen Martirosyan and the lyrics to Inna Mkrtchyan.

    Essaï Altounian is a French-Armenian singer, songwriter, keyboardist and an actor.
    “First of all I'm really proud to represent Armenia. To be a part of the Genealogy means something powerful to me. It is like being a link between the past and the future, a link between earth and sky.”

    Tamar Kaprelian is a famous Armenian-American singer and songwriter.
    “To be included in this competition at a special time when we are commemorating such a landmark anniversary for Armenia is an amazing privilege for me. I am so excited to be joining a very talented group of artists to represent Armenia and America, and to share a positive message about peace and unity with the audiences.”

    Vahe Tilbian is an Armenian-Ethiopian artist, singer and dancer.
    “I am extremely honored, humbled and ecstatic to let you all know that I will be one of 6 artists to represent Armenia at the Eurovision song contest this year in Vienna, Austria.
I know you will all continue to support and encourage me along this bridge building journey of 6 destinies with 1 story. Peace, Love and Music to you all.”

    Stephanie Topalian is a singer, songwriter and an actress currently residing in Tokyo.

So it's me. Yes it's me.

I am the 4th artist of Genealogy for Eurovision 2015!!!

I am so very honored to be a part of this. It is a dream for me to be able to represent both Armenia and Japan with something that I love to do. "Music" and my "Roots" are so precious to me.

I will do anything it takes to better our team.

    Mary-Jean O’Doherty Vasmatzian is a soprano, singing opera, a very well education artist, from little her mother, Armenian, was encouraged to study dance, flute and singing.

The 6th member of the group is the famous and honored singer of the Republic of Armenia Inga Arshakyan.
