France is one of the seven first countries of the very first Eurovision Song Contest in Lugano 1956. The country has 5 victories and 14 of the 62 winning songs are written in French language. One of the Big Five, the last years France try to win the contest by sending huge artists in the stage of Eurovision such as Patricia Kaas, Sebastien Tellier, Anggun. This year France sends another grand artist in the competition, Lisa Angell with the song "N'oubliez pas." The song is written by Robert Goldman, brother of the famous Jean Jacques Goldman. The singer underlines that the song refers to the First World War and any kind of conflict, because it first performed on a concert in November during the commemoration period of the First World War. Lisa was born in Paris at the 21th of September, 1968, and her real name is Lisa Vetrano. Half Italian, from her father’s part, Lisa started her artistic career in the age of 11, when she was 15 she was started classic singing lessons in Nice, unfortunately she stopped them immediately. Lisa didn’t abandon her dream to be a singer and she started to work in various Piano-bars in French Riviera. In 2009, Dani Lary invite her to the spectacle Le Château des secrets, which was the beginning for a big career. After that, Lisa made three personal albums and numerous successes. In late January French National Broadcaster announced that Lisa will be the artist that will represent France at the Eurovision Song Contest that will be held in Vienna, Austria.
