Second Semi Final
|
After the historical entry of Valentina Monetta in the Grand Final with the song of Ralph Siegel and Mauro Balestri “Maybe (Forse)”, San Marino decides to send two of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest stars, Michele Perniola and Anita Simoncini in Vienna. Both Michele and Anita going to be 16 years old, that means that they will be the youngest duo in the history of the competition. Michele Perniola won the Rai 1 TV programme “Ti lascio una canzone” dedicated to the young artists in 2012. He took part in Junior Eurovision Song Contest in a year later with the song “O-o-O Sole intorno a me” in Kiev. Anita Simoncini is a member of the girl band “The Peppermints” that took part in the Junior Eurovision 2014 in Malta with the song “Breaking my heart.” Anita has stadied singing in a choir directed by San Marino’s Maestro Fausto Giacomini and has lately started studying with Linda Hermes. She also set up a new record in the history of Eurovision because she is the first artist that takes part at the Junior Eurovision and at the Eurovision Song Contest in a row. |
