For this year's Eurovision song contest in San Marino, 11 artists competed to be the country's representative. The result was judged by 50% by the online audience and 50% by the jury.
The 11 candidates were:

- Giovanni Montalbano - Per quello che mi dai
- IROL feat. Basti - Sorry
- Jenifer Brening - Until the Morning Light
- Jessika feat. Jenifer Brening - Who We Are
- Judah Gavra - Stay
- Sara de Blue - Out of the Twilight
- Tinashe Makura - Free Yourself
The jury was composed of: Zoë Straub (Austria 2016), Alessandro Capicchioni, Ladislav Kossár and John Kennedy O'Connor. The winners of the night were Jessica feat. Jenifer Brening with the song Who We Are.
