We would like to welcome Claudia Faniello this year's contestant from Malta....
-Claudia, you have always been an Esc fan...How long for? When was your first contact with the contest?
-oh well my first memory was a long time ago , it's been 20 years and I was 9 years old...and then in 1998 my brother Fabrizio took part in our national final and I was around 10 years old...
-So now it's your turn!
-Well at last!
-To what extent does the life of an artist change from the moment s/he represents a country in Esc?
-Oh up to a great extent...Personally I haven't stopped since February...it's a full time job dealing with the contest! But you become part of the history representing a whole country...
-and obviously you carry a lot of memories...
-Oh it's a beautiful story you know...and I keep the memories from myself from my brother so yes lots of memories after all!
-Claudia, it is well known that Malta has organised ESC Junior...In case your country -and let's hope so- is the winner do you think that you have the venue for organizing such an event?
-Yes I think so...I think we can do it as we have done already so with the Junior one and we loved it... It was a great production and staging...let me tell you that Malta loves the ESC and if there wasn't one we would create one...!
-Finally, Claudia, would you like to send a message to Greece and Greek Eurofans?
-Oh I love Athens I have been there in 2006 when my brother took part in the contest and I just loved it! I have not been to the islands as yet but I would very much love to do so it's in my pockets list! So don't get surprised if you get to see me down the streets one day...Thank you very much for the support we are both two small islands in the Mediterranean ...No, you are not, you just have a lot of islands, you are not an island as a whole (ie Greece mainland!) ...Anyway thanks a lot for the support and I hope you do like and enjoy my song as much as I did!
-Thank you very much and good luck! Hope to see you in the final!
-Hopefully yes!
